Sweden’s biggest generator of electricity and producer of heat launches a new interactive tool that makes it easy for anyone to see what solar cell panels can do for their specific house. To make the Suncell Guide work, we utilized databases, APIs, and Javascript and made some serious calculations.

The marked-up area in Google Maps shows how many square meters of solar panels Vattenfall can put on your roof. The roof angles and cardinal directions calculate the amount of sun reaching your roof. When the calculations were done, the tool presented the amount of supplied kWh and the amount of money you save annually. Of course, you also get an attractive offer from Vattenfall.
